What's New in Quick Heal 2014?

Below are the new Features and Enhancements in Quick Heal 2014 Edition:
1. Safe Mode Protection :
Safe Mode protection has been added with Quick Heal 2014 to prevent the unauthorised user login through Safe Mode.
Now with Quick Heal 2014, it requires a password even to login from Safe Mode of Windows.
2. Process & Service Protection :
Quick Heal's Self Protection now protects Quick Heal services and Process from being stopped/killed/disabled.
3. Forgot Password Functionality :
Now Quick Heal's Setting Password can be disabled if Forgotten.
Forgot Password functionality has been added to help the users to disable Quick Heal's password protection if forgotten. How does it work?
4. Behavior Based Scanning :
Behavior Detection System is introduced with Quick Heal 2014. This feature will monitor for malicious behavior by any application.
Upon detecting any malicious behavior, Behavior Detection System will suspend further activities of such application and prompts user with Allow or Block option.
Note : Behavior such as, any application is replicating itself multiple times in multiple directories then such behavior can be said as malicious behavior.
5. Import & Export :
Important Quick Heal settings can be imported to Quick Heal in case of re-installation or same settings has to be applied on the multiple computers having Quick Heal.
Below are few important points to be remembered :
a). The settings can be imported from the same product flavor and the same version only.
E.g. The settings of Quick Heal Antivirus Pro 2014 can be imported to Quick Heal Antivirus Pro 2014 only.
b). Imported settings will be overwritten to the existing settings. It will not be merged.
E.g. Spam Protection’s existing whitelist/blacklist will get overwritten when settings are imported.
c). Parental Control settings will be exported and imported only if Parental Control is configured to "apply to all users".
6. Renewal Using New Product Key :
With Quick Heal 2014, a product key [New License] can be used as a renewal code to renew existing Quick Heal subscription.
E.g. : Once your exisiting subscription reaches expiry, you can renew the same either by purchasing a new license key of the same product or by purchasing renewal code.
Note : This facility is only applicable for Quick Heal Products [Antivirus Pro, Internet Security, Total Security] with Single User License.
