How to unlock phone

Issue : Password Forgot when phone is locked by Quick Heal

Quick Heal Products : Quick Heal Mobile Security, Quick Heal Total Security.


 Your handset screen gets locked under 2 conditions as mentioned below:


  1.  When you change the SIM card &
  2.  When your handset is in Flight/Aeroplane Mode


Under these conditions, a prompt appears on your handset screen as mentioned below:





Please, click on Unlock Screen


Thereafter, on the Enter Password prompt shown below, kindly enter the password and click Unlock.




However, if you have forgotten the password, to unlock your handset, you need to turn the Flight/Airplane Mode OFF.

Kindly, follow the below steps to turn Flight/Airplane Mode OFF:

As shown in the above mentioned screenshot, click on 'SOS: Emergency calls only' option and your phone keypad will be displayed.

With the keypad displayed on the screen, press and hold the Power button on the right-hand side of your handset and you will get the option to turn Flight/Airplane Mode OFF as shown below.




Once the Flight/Airplane Mode is turned OFF, click on Forgot Password? hyperlink which will lead to Get Temporary Password prompt as mentioned below:








As mentioned in the prompt above, a temporary password will be sent to your alternate contact via SMS from your device and carrier charges will apply.

So, you need to click on Yes.


Besides, you could also login to and reset the password.

You could also login to it using your G-mail address and its password by clicking on the option, ‘Sign in with Google’.


After logging on to the Remote Device Management console, mentioned below is the Home Page that would appear and you need to click on Lock :




Thereafter, kindly click on Unlock option as shown in the below mentioned image:




Following this, an Unlock notification will be sent to device as shown below:





To view the status of the Action (Unlock) taken, kindly click on the Home symbol to come back to Home Page and thereafter click on Activity History as shown below:
