Upgrading Quick Heal/Thirtyseven4/Seqrite Endpoint Security to latest version (Seqrite Endpoint Security 6.2)

This up-gradation is applicable for the following products:

  • Quick Heal Endpoint Security 5.0, 5.2, 5.2.1 & 6.0
  • Seqrite Endpoint Security 6.0
  • ThirtySeven4 Endpoint Security 6.2

 To upgrade to your exiting version of Quick Heal/Seqrite Endpoint Security, follow the below steps:

Download the latest installer of Seqrite Endpoint Security 6.2 from http://www.seqrite.com/seqrite-product-installer by providing your existing Endpoint security product key. To know how to view your Product key click How to view the Product Key?

Multi-Server Up-gradation Method:

This method of up-gradation applies where you wish to install the latest Seqrite Endpoint Security 6.2 on the same system where your existing version of Quick Heal or Seqrite Endpoint Security is already running. To continue with the Multi-server method of up-gradation:

 

  • Install Seqrite Endpoint Security 6.2 on the same system where existing Quick Heal or Seqrite Endpoint Security is already installed. Seqrite Endpoint Security 6.2 installer will detect the existing version and shows the following prompt:

          

  • Click Yes to proceed with the Multi-server installation.
  • After the completion of Seqrite Endpoint Security 6.2 installation, login to the existing Quick Heal or Seqrite Endpoint Web Console and follow the below-mentioned steps:

         From Dashboard, Go to Admin Settings > Redirection

         Enter the following details :

        Server Name/IP: Enter System name or IP address of the existing Endpoint security  Server

        Port number: 5047

  • Click Apply.

 

Redirection Types:

The existing Endpoint Security Clients can be re-directed or Migrated to new Endpoint Security 6.2 in two ways:

Redirect all Clients:

In this method, all the clients are pushed to redirect to the new Endpoint Security Server. Once the command is applied, all the existing clients starts Up-grading to the newer one.

Redirect selected clients (recommended for large Networks):

In this method of re-direction, only the selected clients will be redirected to new Endpoint Security Server. Once the command is applied, only the selected clients starts Upgrading to the newer one.

Note: Redirect selected clients option is available only from Endpoint Security 6.0 and above.
