Policy gets changed to default policy after restart of Client system

Description: When a specific Client or a group (Clients) is assigned with specific policy, the policy gets revert to default policy once the client machine under this group restarts. i.e. policy does not apply on clients with End Point Security .

Applicable Quick Heal Product : This article and the solution mentioned applicable to only Quick Heal Endpoint Security 5.0

Solution: The solution for this problem has been released through Service Pack.

How to check whether Service Pack is applied:

  • Open End Point Security Web Console and login with required credentials.
  • Under Home page, the status of Service Pack is available.
  • If service pack is not applied it will notify as “New service pack available" else the details of applied Service Pack will be notified.

 How to apply Service Pack:

1. Go to %ProgramFiles%\Quick Heal\Endpoint Security 5.0\Admin\web\build

2. Run ‘acsvpack.exe’

3. Re-login EPS console and check the status of Service Pack in Home Page.

 Note: Before applying the Service Pack check whether Update Manager is up-to-date.

 If the issue still persists, submit a ticket from http://www.quickheal.com/submitticket
